Customs Managers plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the activities of their respective departments or establishments by supervising and mentoring the Customs Brokers and Clerks.
As well as supervising staff a Customs Manager is also responsible for the following;
A Customs Manager must have an AQIS Accredited Customs Broker licence as well as supervisor and employee management experience in freight forwarder environments. A Diploma of International Freight Forwarding is the associated qualification.
