OUR SERVICES
The LTC actively promotes state and national training initiatives and also assists in the implementation of the National Transport and Logistics Training Package and Traineeships. It is managed by a Board of Management consisting of industry leaders from the Aviation, Maritime, Road Transport, Rail Transport, Logistics and Warehousing sectors of the industry, providing strategic direction to the activities of the organisation.
The LTC distributes information to industry, Government departments, agencies and training providers through its comprehensive newsletter and website, as well as workshops and information sessions. The LTC also responds to individual requests for information and offers a consultancy service to assist industry to more effectively develop the skills of its workforce.
The LTC’s services include:
- Providing independent advice and support
- Assistance in establishing and maintaining traineeships
- Analysis of enterprise skills gaps and training needs
- Representation of the industry’s position on training issues to Government
- Networking opportunities for industry trainers and assessors
