The Workforce Development Plan 2011, as a complementary document, focuses on addressing the issues raised in the Environmental Scan, outlining barriers faced by the industry and suggesting possible reform strategies. This plan forms a blueprint that the Department of Training and Workforce Development utilises when addressing the priorities of Skilling WA.

The Workforce Gauge 2011 is a report based on a survey conducted by the LTC of more than 80 organisations across the industry. The survey collected data on a variety of subjects including training, recruitment and retention.

The RTO Gauge 2011 is based on a survey of 36 RTO's and similarly consists of a range of issues, providing data on such issues as training and employment barriers and strategies to address them. The Environmental Scan references both the Workforce Gauge and RTO Gauge in its findings.

Our work is reliant on on-going research and as such any feedback is very welcome. Please forward your comments to logisticstc@logisticstc.asn.au
